🌿 Wild Fridays are coming to Faldonside Eco! 🌿

Looking for an unforgettable Friday afternoon for your child?

Our Wild Fridays are all about getting outside, getting muddy, making friends, and discovering the magic of nature.

Each week, children aged 5–11 will spend the afternoon exploring the woods, building dens, learning bushcraft skills, cooking over the fire, using tools safely, creating nature-inspired crafts, playing woodland games, and spotting wildlife. Every session is child-led, allowing curiosity and imagination to shape the adventure.

There’s no pressure, no screens—just fresh air, freedom to explore, and the chance to build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong connection with nature.

Delivered in collaboration with The Green Adventure Forest School and Faldonside Eco, Wild Fridays are the perfect way to end the week with adventure, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Gentle outdoor sessions for you and your little one. Breathe in the fresh air, slow down, and connect — with your baby, with nature, and with other new parents.
Join us for relaxing, nurturing sessions in the woods designed especially for parents with babies under 3yrs. Whether you’re looking for calm moments, sensory play, or just a warm cup of tea around the fire — you’ll find it here.

✨ Nature Nurture Walks- Slow-paced strolls with mindful moments and seasonal sights.

🍃 Baby-Friendly Forest Sensory Play, Tummy time mats, nature textures, and forest mobiles.

🎶 Song & Sound Circles, Gentle nature-inspired songs and baby lullabies beneath the trees.

📖 Storytime in the Woods, Cuddle up and listen to nature-themed tales

🔥 Tea by the Fire + Parent Connection Time
Space to chat, relax, and recharge with others who get it.

💚 Who it’s for: parents or carers with babies aged 0–3yrs.
No outdoor experience needed — just come as you are.

Got a teen who needs a break from screens and a chance to reconnect with the real world?

Introducing Wild Teens — an evening forest school experience designed just for ages 11–15.

Across a series of relaxed, hands-on sessions, young people will build confidence, learn practical outdoor skills, make new friends, and enjoy the freedom of the woods at dusk. From fire-lighting and shelter building to nature-based challenges and team activities, every session is about adventure, independence, and belonging.
